SOLID TOKYO FEAT: COLETTE (OM/CANDY TALK CHICAGO)
Supported by TODD OMOTANI (VESTAX/SOLID CANADA)

DJ Colette is one of the first DJs to add her vocals over her DJ set, inspiring a whole new category of performance in the electronic world.

As countless others began to sing and spin, there may not be any DJ today who can match the impressive pedigree of former music teacher turned mix-master DJ Colette. How many DJs combine the results of close observation of legendary Derrick Carter and Mark Farina dating back to Chicago in the late 80s with formal operatic training from the ages of nine to 18?

Having played in clubs and festivals throughout the world, both on her own and with the beloved SuperJane collective she helped form along with DJ Heather, Lady D and Dayhota, Colette has established herself as an upper-echelon DJ in her own right.

The proof came in 2003 when Colette was chosen to be the face and sound for Motorola’s worldwide campaign along with superstars Felix Da Housecat and Paul Van Dyk.

Don’t miss the First Lady of House music live in Stereolab, supported by Todd Omotani (Vestax, Canada).
