After an epic Bunny Bonanza that saw over 1000 people ring in 2009, The White Rabbit ups the ante with LIFELIKE (France). Watch out 2010, our doors are wide open and we’ll be bringing the church down!
LIFELIKE is one of France’s most talented producers, with a CV boasting a wealth of hit productions, collaborations and remixes that have cemented his place in dance-music history.
He captured the last years of French Disco madness with “The Sound of Love”, then the playlists of Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter & DJ Falcon for months, with ‘Black Chess’ introducing their ‘Together 2002’ World Tour. ‘Discopolis’ (co-produced with Kris Menace) the biggest underground hit of 2005 and instant classic, is still played today by DJs around the world. It wasn’t long before a multitude of big-name artists knocked on Laurent’s door to secure his unique touch on their material, with remixes for Moby, Empire Of The Sun, Chromeo and La Roux, just to name a few.
When not touring the world as a DJ, LIFELIKE experiments in new musical directions on French Touch Icon, Alan Braxe’s label, Vulture – evidenced by the future disco hits ‘’Sequencer’ & ‘Sunset’ topping the independent charts for several weeks this year.
